Cataract Surgery Today-Very Disappointed so far

I am still seeing bleary out of the surgery eye, almost10 hours later. The visiion has not improved, but the gritty feeling seems to be leaving, I see the doctor in the morning along with everyone else. I see where most people see vision improvement immediately, not one of those here sadly

sometimes they have to go back and just do a very quick 'touchup' and usually all is good.

You may have gotten a bad doctor or some shit. Maybe bad luck.


Hey, you remember that coach from Ohio State? He had surgery and they fucked up his nerve or something.... and now he can't sit on the sidelines and he's all fucked up. Something like that.


Just looked it up... and looks like it ended his career. All b/c of a fucked up doctor.

Do you back in the hospital or in the office? It was not a good experience in the hospital yesterday. People nice, but difficult also if you get my drift. Off to see the surgeon in a few minutes (follow up)

yeah my mom just had hers and similar results. the vision improved drastically but it's like a window blind has been pulled down the top 1/2 of her eye.

Nurse did some eye tests, then drops..Doctor looked at it, said there is some mild swelling, use your drops and everything should be fine in a couple of days. PURE RELIEF!

I do not and am as careful as possible to get the drops in. I'd say my vision has improved maybe up to 50%, but not as good as my other eye, which has only a very small prescription and is 100% sharp without glasses. Probably will need glasses.

Sight is improving...Unreal as it sounds, I'd say about 80-85% as good as new. Should have done it years ago..From my google reading, people are having them removed earlier in age.

Did you do both eyes together? I know my dad did 1 eye and then his other eye 3-4 weeks later.

He still wears glasses for reading only

Hi, Wanted to respond.. Guess I might be of the 1 to 4 %, that has no cataracts in the left eye, But not sure. I can tell you this. It was soooo bad in my right eye, that i was just paying for prescriptios that were doing NO good, Let me give you the ONE SOLID PIECE of ADVICE that you won't look back. .BE SURE IT'S AN OPTOMETRIST ( THE SURGERY ONE) OR YOU WILL BE GOING (LIKE i WAS ) ROUND THE FIELD! They are both good docs, but trust the Optometist.

The foreman is really angry now. He storms off toward the pile of sand to look for the Chinese gent.

Just then, the Chinese man leaps out from behind the pile of sand and

yells,

'SUPPLIES!!!!
